GAZA, (PIC)
As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 116 on Tuesday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes and shelter centers and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza last night and on Tuesday morning, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
According to the health ministry in Gaza, a Palestinian woman was martyred and nine others were wounded when the Israeli army bombed streets near Al-Amal Hospital and the Red Crescent headquarters in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Israeli soldiers also stormed the Red Crescent building and Al-Amal Hospital, amid intensive gunfire and projectile attacks.
Several tents in the Red Crescent facility’s courtyard caught fire as a result of the Israeli attacks.
Local sources said that the soldiers ordered, at gunpoint, the displaced families, the patients and the medical crews at the buildings to evacuate, while everyone is afraid of being killed by Israeli snipers, drones or tanks as they leave the buildings or start walking away.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army destroyed an entire residential block in the west of Khan Yunis, while the Nasser Hospital building, which is located in the same area, is under siege for the second consecutive week.
The besieged hospital’s power generators are also expected to shut down due to fuel shortages, while all those inside the facility started to face hunger after the food supplies ran out.
Several homes were reportedly detonated by the Israeli army in the southern neighborhood of Khan Yunis refugee camp.
Three martyrs were also evacuated from al-Satar al-Gharbi neighborhood in Khan Yunis to An-Najjar Hospital in Rafah after they were shot dead by Israeli forces.
Bodies of five civilians from the same family in Khan Yunis were recovered from the rubble of a house, which was bombed by the Israeli army about three weeks ago.
According to Palestinian media sources, 80 bodies of unidentified martyrs, some of them decomposed, were buried today in a mass grave in Rafah. Those bodies had been stolen by the Israeli army from hospitals and graves in different areas of Gaza during its incursions, which started last October.
Those bodies were handed over to Palestinian ambulance crews on Tuesday morning through the Karam Abu Salem border crossing.
Medical sources affirmed they examined some of the bodies and found that organs had been removed from them by the Israeli occupation authorities.
In related incidents, Israeli warplanes bombed at least six apartment buildings in the west of Gaza City, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.
The Israeli army also detonated residential blocks in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood and areas in the west of Gaza City.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial and artillery attacks last night and today.
The health ministry said that the Israeli occupation army committed, over the past 24 hours, 13 massacres in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of at least 114 civilians and the injury of 249 others.
