The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed on Tuesday afternoon a Palestinian young man after he allegedly opened fire at them near the Beit Furik checkpoint in eastern Nablus.
According to local sources, Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance crew from providing the young man with medical assistance after opening fire at him and left him to bleed to death.
The young man, whose identity is still unknown, was pronounced dead later.
Immediately following the incident, the IOF closed the checkpoint, causing a heavy build-up of traffic in both directions of the road, while military reinforcements stormed and spread in the area.
