Palestinian resistance fighters were engaged in fierce armed clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday afternoon in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem and Fari’ah refugee camp in Tubas.
According to Palestinian media sources, a group of resistance fighters showered Israeli soldiers with bullets during their campaign in Nur Shams camp, while a number of IOF vehicles encircled a house in al-Damj neighborhood.
Later, the resistance fighters detonated an explosive device at Israeli reinforcements as they stormed the camp.
According to the Red Crescent, a young man and a young girl were injured by IOF gunfire in Tulkarem, and later three local women reportedly suffered bullet and shrapnel wounds.
In Tubas, resistance fighters also clashed with Israeli forces in al-Fari’ah camp.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli forces were attacked by resistance fighters with live ammunition and explosive devices in different areas of the West Bank.
