Several Palestinians kidnaped by IOF in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Monday several Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.

According to local sources, the IOF stormed Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus, kidnaped a young man from his home and clashed with resistance fighters.

The IOF also carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in Tal village, west of Nablus, and delivered threat notices against the local residents, which provoked skirmishes with young men.

Local sources said that over 13 citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in Tal village.

In Tubas, a citizen was injured by a live bullet and another one was kidnaped after the IOF stormed Tamun town, raided homes and clashed with local youths.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing sounds of explosions during the IOF campaign in the town.

Armed clashes also broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli forces at the main entrance of Fari’ah refugee camp and Wadi Fari’ah area in southern Tubas.

In Jenin, resistance fighters were able to detonate a high explosive bomb at a gathering of IOF vehicles and shower them with bullets in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin.

A citizen was reportedly kidnaped by Israeli forces from his home in Arraba town, southwest of Jenin.

In Ramallah, the IOF ransacked several homes in Masyoun neighborhood of the city, and opened fire at young men as they rallied in the area, injuring one of them in his leg.

IOF raids on homes also took place in Beitunia town and different neighborhoods of Ramallah, with no reported arrests.
