Two Palestinian young men were martyred and four others, including a child, were injured on Sunday morning during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tulkarem refugee camp.
Local sources said that all the wounded young men were rushed to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem, while medical sources described the injury of a wounded child as “critical.”
Later, media reports said that a young man identified as 19-year-old Nabil Amer died of a bullet injury in his head during the events.
The IOF also killed another young man and detained his body after encircling his house in al-Shuhada neighborhood in the camp. He was identified as 36-year-old Ahmed al-Ufi.
The IOF reportedly raided several homes, bulldozed roads and deployed snipers in the neighborhood, while a military helicopter was overflying the city and its camp during the campaign.
According to the local sources, the clashes broke out after Israeli forces along with one bulldozer and a large number of armored vehicles stormed Tulkarem City and its refugee camp.
