The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has said that 120 patients in the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis are in need of urgent evacuation from the medical complex in view of its inability to provide treatment for the patients.
It added in a statement on Tuesday that the Nasser Hospital, after the Israeli army withdrawal from it, is in need of rehabilitation in order to be able to extend health services anew.
The Israeli army troops have wreaked havoc on the medical complex and its medical staff could no longer extend any health services to the sick and wounded, the ministry elaborated.
The ministry asked all concerned authorities in the world to swiftly intervene to provide the urgent needs of the hospital and to pressure Israel to release the medical staffers it had detained.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip left almost 30,000 citizens killed and more than 70,000 injured, mostly women and children, in addition to vast destruction of the enclave’s infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
