A Palestinian was killed after he allegedly opened fire at a group of Israeli settlers near the illegal settlement of Eli, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, late on Thursday.
Israeli media sources claimed that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and wounded a Palestinian after he opened fire on a number of settlers near the gas station at the Eli Gate.
One of the attackers was killed, while others managed to flee the scene, the sources added.
Israeli media sources also claimed that two Israeli illegal settlers were killed during the shooting.
