A horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the Arab al-Malihat community in the northwest of Jericho and assaulted local residents on Friday evening.

According to al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, a group of armed settlers aboard cars stormed the community and broke into and ransacked its homes.

The settlers also savagely assaulted and injured a number of local residents as they tried to defend their homes, which caused panic among children and women.

The settlers in Jericho carry out systematic attacks on Bedouin hamlets and prevent the local residents from grazing their sheep and building homes and structures for themselves.

In a separate incident, a group of other settlers assaulted on the same day Palestinian citizens in Kafr Malik village in the east of Ramallah, while Israeli soldiers kidnaped two young men from the nearby village of al-Mughayyir in the northeast of Ramallah.

Another horde of settlers also attacked Lubban ash-Sharqiya village in southern Nablus, where they opened fire at Palestinian citizens, their homes and stores, and chased local youths.

Recently, those settlers intensified their attacks on the Lubban ash-Sharqiya villagers and placed six mobile homes in the south of the village.

Armed settlers also opened fire at Palestinian citizens on the outskirts of al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil and clashed with local youths. Soon later, Israeli soldiers showed up and embarked on firing tear gas canisters at the young men.
