A Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near Nablus on Tuesday after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack.
An Israeli soldier was injured in the stabbing incident on Huwara Street, south of Nablus city in the West Bank, according to Hebrew media sources.
Israeli Army Radio said, “A Palestinian arrived at a road junction leading to the Yitzhar settlement, south of Nablus, and stabbed an Israeli soldier with a knife, leaving him in minor injuries. The Palestinian was shot before he was announced dead later.”
The Israeli army wrote on X, “A stabbing incident was reported at the Yitzhar Junction. No further details are available as the case is yet under investigation.”
Since October 7, 2023, the West Bank has witnessed confrontations with Israeli occupation forces, including large-scale raid and arrest campaigns.
