The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Wednesday a number of Palestinian citizens and confiscated cars during campaigns in different West Bank areas, amid clashes with resistance fighters and local youths.
According to local sources, armed clashes took place between resistance fighters and Israeli forces near Joseph’s Tomb in the eastern area of Nablus City.
The clashes started after Israeli forces and extremist Jewish settlers stormed the eastern area of Nablus and Joseph’s Tomb.
Resistance fighters also clashed with Israeli forces in the vicinity of Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus.
In Jenin, Israeli forces stormed Arraba town and intensively fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local youths during clashes with them.
Local sources said that the young men responded by throwing homemade bombs and stones at Israeli soldiers and their vehicles.
The IOF also stormed Ya’bad town in the southwest of Jenin, raided homes and confiscated a private car, while resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces in Jalbun village in eastern Jenin.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed Habla town in southern Qalqilya and ransacked several homes before kidnaping four citizens, including an elderly man.
The IOF also raided several homes in Azzun town and kidnaped one young citizen.
Meanwhile, resistance fighters opened fire at different Israeli army posts on the outskirts of Qalqilya City, particularly in its southern area.
In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped a young man at a makeshift checkpoint near the military roadblock of Jubara.
Resistance fighters reportedly showered Israeli forces with bullets during an IOF raid in Tulkarem City.
Two young men were kidnaped by the IOF from the city and the Aktaba suburb of Tulkarem.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped a citizen from his home in Deir Ghassana village.
The IOF also raided several homes in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, without making arrests.
In Bethlehem, Israeli troops stormed Asakra village, where they raided homes and confiscated some private cars.
They also kidnaped one citizen from Assaf street in Bethlehem after wreaking havoc on the furniture of his house.
In al-Khalil, the IOF broke into and ransacked several homes in al-Khalil City and kidnaped two young men. They also raided homes in Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil and confiscated a number of vehicles.
