As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 157 on Monday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of citizens.
According to media sources, a number of civilians suffered injuries after the Israeli army bombed homes in al-Qarara town in northern Khan Yunis.
16 martyrs were reported following an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Abu Shammala in az-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City. The attack also killed and injured other citizens in nearby homes.
The Israeli army also killed three sisters from the family of Barakat and injured other citizens in an Israeli aerial attack on a house in eastern Rafah.
Another Israeli attack on a house in al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City injured a number of citizens.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
Meanwhile, two more children died of malnutrition and dehydration at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation army released 56 Palestinian citizens, who had been kidnaped from different areas of Gaza during incursions.
The faces and bodies of those citizens have showed signs of torture, according to the border and crossings authority in Gaza.
