The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza said on Sunday, “Our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are welcoming the holy month of Ramadan with the continuation of the Israeli genocidal and starvation war, killing and displacing Palestinians with the US support amid the silence of the international community.”
The GMO explained, in a statement, that the Israeli occupation army has targeted more than 500 mosques, with 220 mosques completely destroyed, and 290 mosques out of service, holding Israel, the US administration, and the international community, fully responsible for the crime of genocide against civilians, children and women.
“With the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, we call on all countries of the free world to put pressure on Israel in order to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing it has been waging against our Palestinian people, resulting in more than 110,000 victims so far, including martyrs, wounded, missing, and detainees,” the statement added.
The GMO called for the release of hundreds of thousands of tons of aid accumulated on the other side of the border to be immediately delivered to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip through land crossings, in defiance of famine especially during the holy month of fasting.
