Juliette Touma, UNRWA Director of Communications, affirmed in press statements that “there is a much more efficient, easier, faster, safer, cheaper way to get humanitarian assistance into Gaza.”
Speaking to CBC News, Touma affirmed that access via road is the best option to help people across the Gaza Strip.
The whole population currently relies on humanitarian operations, she added.
There is no more time to waste, she continued.
Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has waged a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left an enormous humanitarian catastrophe and a major health and environmental disaster.
