Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday evening.
According to local sources, the martyrs included Ahmed Barakat “Abu Hani,” a commander in the Jenin Brigades who has been chased for years, as well as two other members of the brigades.
The Israeli army and internal security agency Shin Bet said in a joint statement that Israeli aircraft struck two Palestinian vehicles in Jenin.
For its part, the Palestine Health Ministry said that three Palestinians were killed and one wounded in the attack.
The Israeli military said two of the targets were “senior Islamic Jihad operatives who had been planning attacks on Israel.”
