The Tulkarem Brigade, an affiliate of al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad, said that a group of its resistance fighters ambushed an Israeli army vehicle and killed one officer and three soldiers in the northwest of Tulkarem last night.
According to the Brigade, its fighters infiltrated into an Israeli area near the gate of Deir al-Ghusun in the northwest of Tulkarem and were able to set up a precise ambush for a car carrying one duty officer and three soldiers and shower them with bullets following careful surveillance.
The Brigades said its fighters were able to withdraw safely from the area after finishing off the officer and the soldiers inside the car.
The Brigades pointed out that this operation was in response to the recent assassination of resistance fighters in the refugee camps of Nur Shams and Jenin.
