The Hamas Movement said that the statements of the United Nations Rapporteur for Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, that there is sufficient evidence that the criminal Israeli occupation army has committed acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people is an additional acknowledgment from a senior UN official.
Hamas added, in a statement on Tuesday, that this puts the international community and the United Nations before a real test to protect humanity and stand up to their responsibilities to prevent acts of genocide that humanity has surpassed decades ago.
Hamas called on the International Criminal Court “to move beyond silence and take urgent action to hold the Israeli occupation leaders accountable for the genocide and ethnic cleansing they are committing against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in full view of the world.”
