As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 176 on Saturday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens, despite the UN resolution, adopted recently by the Security Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to media sources, the Israeli army attacked a gathering of civilians waiting for humanitarian aid near the Kuwait rotary in Gaza City, injuring at least eight of them.
13 citizens were pronounced dead today after they were bombed by the Israeli army two days ago in al-Qarara town, east of Khan Yunis.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
