As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 179 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens, despite the UN resolution, adopted recently by the Security Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to media sources, two civilians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli artillery attack on Abul-Ajin area in the east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
The Israeli army also bombed an area near the telecommunication company building in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, killing three citizens.
Many homes were also bombed and detonated by Israeli forces in Khan Yunis during the past hours.
In Rafah, 10 citizens, including five children and three women, were massacred and others were injured in an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Zoa’rob.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
