The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Wednesday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr, a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped eight citizens following raids on homes in Tulkarem City, amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.
In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men during raids in Tal town and Beit Imrin village.
In Jenin, resistance fighters opened fire at the Dotan checkpoint near Ya’bad town, while the IOF raided several homes in different towns and villages in the province.
In Ramallah, one young citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in the towns of Beit Rima and Nabi Saleh.
The IOF also stormed other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped on Wednesday morning a Palestinian child from the Bab al-Amud plaza in the Old City and two other children and one young man from Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
