The number of Palestinian detainees in the West Bank since October 7 last year reached 8,165, two human rights groups said on Tuesday.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society and the Commission of Detainees and ex-Detainees said in a joint statement that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up 20 Palestinians over the past 24 hours.
They added that the IOF arrest campaign focussed on Tulkarem while others were detained in other cities, towns and refugee camps in the West Bank.
