The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem on Thursday, the second day of Eid al-Fitr holiday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped five citizens in Tulkarem City and its nearby areas. One of the detainees is Sheikh Mahdi Mallah, a noted religious figure.
The IOF also caused damage to a Palestinian vehicle traveling at the Yunis rotary near Shuweika suburb in Tulkarem and interrogated its driver.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed al-Izzariya town and kidnaped two citizens after ransacking their homes.
The Israeli police also announced they arrested four Jerusalemites, claiming they threw explosives and stones at a train in northern Jerusalem.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers set fire to a Palestinian house and a car in Lubban ash-Sharqiya town, south of Nablus, before local residents fended them off.
The same settlers also assaulted and injured a citizen during its attack on the town.
