The granddaughter of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haneyya has succumbed Monday morning to wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted her family last week.
Martyr child Malak has joined her father and two uncles in addition to four of Haneyya’s grandchildren who were martyred in the Israeli massacre that was committed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr when their car was targeted in an Israeli airstrike.
This brings the number of Haneyya’s family members including his children and grandchildren who fell as martyrs in recent Israeli airstrikes to 7, and to 10 since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
Last Wednesday, three of Haneyya’s sons (Hazem, Amir, and Muhammad) and three of his grandchildren were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a civilian car at the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, north of the Strip.
This brings the number of child martyrs who have been killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since the beginning of the war to approximately 14,000 children.
