Prisoners’ institutions and national and Islamic forces called for broad participation on Wednesday in commemorating the Palestinian Prisoner’s Day in all governorates of the West Bank.
The institutions and forces announced a central program to commemorate the Prisoner’s Day, which falls on April 17 of every year.
The Prisoner’s Day comes this year in light of the escalating Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, especially the prisoners, and the continuation of the genocide in Gaza.
The national institutions and forces said, “Let it this year be for the steadfast people of Gaza and for our heroic prisoners in Israeli jails and detention centers.”
Various Prisoner’s Day vigils were planned to be held on Wednesday afternoon in various cities of the West Bank.
