The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian young woman on Wednesday morning in al-Khalil on allegations of her intent to carry out a stabbing attack.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the woman as 20-year-old Maimunah Harah’sha, saying she was killed by IOF gunfire in northern al-Khalil, particularly near the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance from reaching the victim who ended up bleeding to death.
According to the health ministry, the IOF has refused to hand over Maimunah’s body.
