Yemen’s armed forces conducted three military operations in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean in support of the Gaza Strip, military spokesperson Yehya Sariee said in a televised speech on Wednesday.
According to the spokesman, Yemen’s armed forces targeted a US warship destroyer and the Maersk Yorktown ship in the Gulf of Aden, as well as the Israeli vessel MSC Veracruz in the Indian Ocean.
Sariee stressed that these operations were launched in support of the victimized Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to the US-British aggression against Yemen, vowing that his group would take more military actions in the coming days.
Sariee pointed out that the armed forces used drones and naval missiles in their attacks on the vessels.
