Hamas Movement did not request relocating from Qatar to Syria, Jihad Taha, a Hamas spokesman, said in a press release on Wednesday.
The Lebanese newspaper Al-Liwaa, citing an unnamed source, said on Tuesday, Hamas has asked to relocate its political office from Qatar to Syria.
“The Movement did not request this from Syria or any other country,” Taha stressed.
“With all due respect to all Arab countries, which we appreciate their support for the Palestinian cause, we did not ask for relocating to Syria or any other country,” the spokesman elaborated.
