An Israeli drone fired a missile on a car in Western Beqaa District in Lebanon on Friday killing two persons on board.
The Islamic group in Lebanon (Jamaa Islamiya) announced on Friday evening that two of its members were martyred in an Israeli airstrike in the Western Beqaa.
It said in a press release that two of its armed wing’s commanders Musab Sa’eed and Bilal Mohammed were martyred in the raid.
It added that they were martyred while carrying out their duties in defense of the Lebanese people in South Lebanon and in support of the Palestinian people.
The incident comes in the wake of escalating military confrontations between the Israeli army and Lebanese Hezbollah militias. Israeli air raids on two villages in south Lebanon on Friday injured one person while Israeli artillery shelling hit a number of areas in other southern Lebanese areas. Hezbollah missiles killed a driver of an Israeli military truck on Thursday night.
