Adnan Al-Assar, a member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Arab Front, stressed the Palestinians’ rejection of the Israeli occupation’s plans to hand over the Rafah border crossing to a private US firm.
Al-Assar, a member of the Supreme Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces in Gaza said, “We will absolutely reject any non-Palestinian control of the Rafah crossing.”
He underlined that it is the decision of 14 parties in the follow-up committee, stressing that the Palestinian people will continue resistance until achieving freedom and independence.
“Our steadfast people deserve life. Every time, despite displacement, killing and destruction, they continue to cling to their land,” he said.
Al-Assar pointed out that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been facing failure since October 7, with none of his announced goals achieved so far.
