The Palestinian Civil Defense teams on Wednesday recovered dozens of bodies of Palestinian martyrs killed during a week-long Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) incursion into the Al-Zaytoun and Sabra neighborhoods in southeastern Gaza City.
Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the rescue teams have so far recovered dozens of corpses of Palestinians killed in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and its health clinic.
“Our teams are working in the neighborhood to search for victims killed during the Israeli army’s incursion,” he said.
He further pointed out that the IOF destroyed more than 200 homes in the Zaytoun neighborhood during its ongoing attack.
14 Palestinians have been killed in the city’s Sabra neighborhood after a UN-run clinic was targeted by Israeli jets, he added.
