The Palestinian health ministry said that one Palestinian citizen was martyred and at least eight others were injured in an Israeli airstrike last night on a house in Jenin refugee camp.
Media sources in Jenin said that Islam Khamaysi, commander of the Jenin Brigade, was killed and several others, including civilians, were injured following an Israeli aerial attack on a house in al-Damj neighborhood in Jenin camp.
The airstrike destroyed the house and caused damage to nearby homes and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army claimed that a warplane bombed in Jenin City a group of fighters who were planning to launch an imminent attack on Israelis.
