A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead on Thursday morning after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained yesterday during the Israeli aggression in Jenin City and its refugee camp.

The young martyr was identified as 30-year-old Mustafa Jabarin, according to a medical source.

His death has brought to 12 the number of the victims killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during their violent campaign in Jenin, which started on Tuesday morning. Among the martyrs are four children, a teacher and a doctor.

On Wednesday evening, the Palestinian health ministry said that three teenagers, identified as Sami al-Qaisi, 18, Mahmoud Qarini, 16, and Wasim Jaradat, 15, were shot dead by IOF gunfire in Jenin.

24 other citizens have also suffered bullet injuries — four of them seriously — during the IOF attack on Jenin.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, 517 Palestinian citizens have been killed by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip started on October 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, renewed clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli forces were reported at dawn Thursday in Jenin City.

Earlier, Israeli forces reportedly besieged a number of journalists inside the Cinema Hotel in Jenin City and opened fire at it before demolishing its guard room. One of the hotel’s employees suffered a bullet injury.

Local sources said that the IOF wreaked havoc on public and private property during its campaign in Jenin City and its refugee camp.

In a related development, the Israeli army withdrew its forces at dawn Thursday from Jenin City and its refugee camp following a two-day violent campaign.

Local sources said that hundreds of displaced families started to return to Jenin to check on their homes and property.
