Israeli warplanes launched unprecedented air raids on Rafah City in the southern Gaza Strip, moments after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued a ruling demanding Israel to halt its aggression against the city of Rafah immediately.
Israeli artillery also bombed the vicinity of Kuwait Specialized Hospital in the center of Rafah, shooting at anyone who approaches the center of Rafah, while medical crews were prevented from reaching the injured.
Unprecedented air raids were reported on various areas of Rafah, especially the city center.
Media sources affirmed that the airstrikes targeted streets and homes in the center of the Shaboura camp in Rafah.
Intensive artillery shelling also targeted the vicinity of Al-Najjar Hospital, Khirbet Al-Adas, Al-Madkha Street, and Al-Jeneina neighborhood in Rafah.
This Israeli escalation came a few hours after the ICJ issued a binding decision for Israel to immediately stop its military attack on Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
