The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed at dawn Sunday different West Bank areas and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens, amid violent clashes with resistance fighters.
According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed different neighborhoods of Nablus City and kidnaped a citizen from his home in Huwash street.
The IOF also stormed the old refugee camp of Askar in Nablus, deployed snipers on rooftops of some houses, and fired live ammunition and a volley of tear gas canisters and stun grenades during clashes with local youths.
IOF raids on homes also took place in the Nablus villages of Madama and Tal, where three citizens were reportedly taken prisoners.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men from Beitunia town and al-Am’ari refugee camp.
Clashes took place with local youths during the IOF raid in Beitunia town.
In Jenin, over 30 IOF vehicles stormed the city and its refugee camp and patrolled their streets, amid intensive presence of soldiers around hospitals and on rooftops of some buildings.
IOF reportedly embarked on destroying roads and infrastructure during its raid in Jenin.
Local sources said that resistance fighters clashed with the Israeli forces and attacked them with explosive devices in different neighborhoods of Jenin.
