The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that four hospitals and two health clinics in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, have been knocked out of service due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city.

The Ministry confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the Indonesian Field Hospital and the Tal Al-Sultan clinic in Rafah Governorate became out service as a result of the ongoing Israeli targeting of health facilities in the Strip.

Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, Abu Al-Walid Central Clinic, Rafah Field Hospital (2), and Kuwait Specialist Hospital had also become out of service because of the Israeli continuous genocide war, the Ministry added.

It emphasized that this comes with the continuation and expansion of the barbaric Israeli incursion in Rafah Governorate and its deliberate targeting of hospitals and primary healthcare centers in the governorate, causing severe damage.

A number of healthcare personnel have also been martyred amid difficult arrivals to hospitals, it added, noting that only Tal Al-Sultan Hospital is left to struggle to provide service to patients in Rafah Governorate.

The Ministry appealed to international and UN institutions to provide protection for all hospitals, the health workers, and ambulances from Israeli attacks.

Two healthcare workers operating at Al-Kuwait Specialist Hospital in Rafah were martyred on Monday after being shot by Israeli drones at the hospital’s gate.
