The Israeli occupation army demolished on Tuesday morning a Palestinian house in Masafer Yatta area, south of al-Khalil in the West Bank, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources, a bulldozer escorted by Israeli soldiers demolished a house belonging to Mohamed an-Nawaj’ah in Wadi al-Jawaya area of Masafer Yatta.
The sources said that Israeli soldiers assaulted the homeowner and other local residents as they tried to prevent the demolition measure, adding that a family of nine was living in that house.
In another incident, the Israeli municipality in Occupied Jerusalem demolished in the morning commercial facilities in Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
The municipality claimed the stores, which belonged to the family of Barqan, had been built without a permit.
