Eight Palestinian policemen were killed on Tuesday in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle near a shelter housing displaced Palestinians in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
The vehicle was targeted near the headquarters of the Palestine Technical College, which shelters thousands of displaced families in an area designated by the Israeli occupation army as a safe zone.
Eyewitnesses said that immediately following the attack on the car, the same drone targeted a group of civilians standing nearby in the same area, injuring several of them.
The martyrs and other wounded citizens were evacuated from the area using animal-drawn carts.
