As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 248 on Monday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in central and southern Gaza.
According to media sources, eight civilians were martyred following an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Kaware near the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Medical sources said that bodies of five martyrs and over 30 wounded civilians had been evacuated to the Nasser Hospital in the morning hours.
Casualties were also reported after the Israeli army opened fire at tents sheltering displaced families in al-Mawasi area of Rafah, south of Gaza. All of them were transported to the Nasser Hospital.
At least bodies of two martyrs were recovered from the east of Deir al-Balah after Israeli forces retreated to an area near the border fence in the east of central Gaza, according to medical sources.
At dawn, the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abu Dhalfa in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing one woman and injuring others.
More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
