The Hamas Movement mourned the six martyrs who were killed on Tuesday by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.

Hamas said in a statement, “The IOF massacres in the West Bank and Gaza Strip will never push the Palestinian people to retract their choice and decision to resist this barbarism and fascism and to defend its land and sanctities.”

The statement called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to persist in their steadfastness and escalating clashes and confrontations with the IOF and settlers until the liberation of all occupied Palestinian territories.

Earlier on Tuesday, six young men were martyred in Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, during fierce clashes that erupted between resistance fighters and the IOF soldiers who were reinforced special forces.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society explained on Tuesday evening that its crews recovered two new martyrs from the house that was attacked by the IOF in Kafr Dan, which brings the number of the martyrs who were killed in the Israeli raid on the town to six.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the names of the martyrs who were murdered after engaging in fierce clashes with the IOF and Israeli special forces that infiltrated the town.

Local sources reported that gunfire and explosive devices were used in the clashes, while military reinforcements escorted by two Apache planes were called on from Dotan military camp, south of Jenin.

The IOF encircled a Palestinian house where explosions were heard after it was bombed with Energa missiles with smoke columns seen rising from it, the sources added.

For its part, the Jenin Brigade affiliated with Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades, announced, in a brief statement, that its fighters in Kfar Dan were engaged in violent armed clashes with the IOF after the discovery of an infiltrating special force.
