As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 253 on Saturday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in southern Gaza.
According to media sources, nine martyrs were evacuated from Rafah to the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunis. They were killed during different Israeli attacks.
An unidentified number of martyrs were also evacuated from different areas of Rafah and an-Nuseirat refugee camp.
At dawn, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City, killing one civilian and injuring 12 others.
However, local sources said that a total of 19 civilians, including children and women, were massacred and dozens were injured in Israeli attacks on three houses in the neighborhoods of ash-Shuja’iya and Tuffah.
Warplanes also targeted a number of homes in al-Brazil neighborhood in eastern Rafah, with no reported casualties.
More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
In a separate incident, Israeli media outlets reported on Saturday that al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, killed eight Israeli soldiers as they were asleep in an armored personnel carrier in the southern Gaza Strip at dawn Saturday.
