The Hamas Movement has described Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that the ratio of civilian to combatant deaths in Gaza is one to one as a lie and contempt for the global public opinion.
In a statement on Friday, Hamas said that Netanyahu persists in his blatant misleading approach to cover up the gravity of the unprecedented war crimes and genocide that had been committed by his army in the Gaza Strip.
“The daily reports of the health ministry and other reports and figures that were released by UN and international human rights bodies confirm that the vast majority of the victims in the Gaza Strip are civilians, especially children and women — killed by the occupation army’s barbaric and indiscriminate attacks on their homes, as well as on hospitals, shelter centers, and places that the criminal army claimed to be safe before slaughtering them in cold blood,” Hamas added.
