One Palestinian citizen was martyred and five others were injured in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a house in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem City on Sunday afternoon.
The martyr was identified as Sa’eid al-Jaber, a member of a resistance group in Tulkarem.
Among the five who were injured, two were in serious condition, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Earlier, the Red Crescent said that it was dealing with two casualties as a result of the aerial attack on the house, pointing out that its crews were unable to enter the property due to the fire the bombing caused.
Israeli aerial attacks used to be rare incidents in the occupied West Bank, but have spiked since the Israeli occupation army waged its war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2013.
