The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) advanced into the southwest of Gaza City at dawn Monday, ordering Palestinian civilians to evacuate neighborhoods after a night of bombardment that killed and injured dozens of Gazans.
The PIC correspondent reported that the IOF suddenly penetrated the vicinity of the universities and the industrial areas on the southern outskirts of Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, amid fire belts and violent bombardment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bombardment and incursion caused a large exodus from schools and homes towards the north amidst heavy fire from Israeli Quadcopter aircraft.
The Israeli warplanes bombed several buildings on top of the residents, while rescue crews were struggling to save the victims.
At least, one martyr was reported and seven people were injured as the IOF bombed a house near the Tayaran Junction south of Gaza City, while the IOF renewed artillery shelling of the southeastern areas.
