Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, has warned of the Israeli occupation authority’s persistence in its violations against the Palestinian holy sites, especially the Aqsa Mosque.
In his meeting with other Palestinian Muftis on Wednesday, Sheikh Hussein said that the Israeli occupation police assault Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque, prevent them from entering it for prayers, and detain and search them.
Sheikh Hussein called on the international community to necessarily take action to put an end to Israel’s serious violations against the Palestinian holy sites before it is too late.
