The Hamas Movement hailed, in a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the resilience and steadfastness shown by the people of Gaza City in face of the Israeli displacement campaigns.
“We salute the masses of our brave people who showed the most wonderful images of challenge, steadfastness and patience in the face of the murder and fascist extermination machines and rejected the criminal intimidation and displacement campaigns.”
Hamas pointed out that the Israeli army used all the means of pressure, intimidation, killing and extermination in total violation of war laws amid total international inaction.
However, the occupation, the Movement added, did not succeed in breaking the Palestinian people’s will or determination, or achieving any of its criminal goals, due to their steadfastness and brave resistance.
The Israeli army earlier ordered all Palestinian civilians to leave Gaza City as it struck UNRWA’s headquarters there, a day after at least 27 people were killed and 53 injured in an Israeli attack on a school housing displaced civilians in Khan Yunis.
