Iranian President-Elect Masoud Pezeshkian assured the Palestinian nation and resistance forces of his administration’s “unwavering support in the struggle against the Zionist regime.”
This came in a letter to Hamas chief Ismail Haneyya, thanking him for the congratulatory message on his election victory.
Pezeshkian assured Haneyya that Iran will keep supporting the Palestinian nation and its struggle against the occupation and the apartheid Zionist regime as a humanitarian and Islamic duty.
The Islamic Republic will continue to offer unwavering support for the oppressed Palestinian people until the full restoration of their rights, fulfillment of their goals, and the liberation of Jerusalem, the president-elect stated.
He also expressed confidence that Palestine will be the ultimate victor in light of the historic resistance shown by the people of Palestine and Gaza and the heroic efforts made by the resistance fighters in the ongoing war against the Israeli regime.
