The World Food Program (WFP) said that “the collapse of the public health system and the lack of sustainable means for nutritious food leave countless children in Gaza at risk.”
In a post on its official X account, WFP pointed to a case of a Palestinian woman, identified as Shayma who tragically lost her son to malnutrition, saying it was a completely preventable condition.
It’s time for an immediate ceasefire, the WFP concluded.
