A young man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Abwein town, northwest of Ramallah, in the West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health declared on Friday evening.
The Ministry identified the martyr as Ali Muwaffaq Musa Muzahim, 26, saying that he suffered from serious gunshot injuries in the head.
The town witnessed violent confrontations after IOF patrols stormed the area amid heavy live fire.
During the raid, the IOF opened fire at a group of people near their homes, and shot Muzahim directly in the head.
Hundreds of citizens marched in Muzahim’s funeral amid calls for revenge.
