Dozens of Palestinian civilians were either killed or injured on Saturday morning when the Israeli occupation army bombed al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli army committed a massacre in al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis when it attacked with six missiles an apartment building belonging to the family of ash-Shurbaji.
The Israeli army also reportedly bombed tents sheltering dozens of displaced families in the same area.
According to initial information from medical sources, the Israeli attack killed and wounded over 100 people, while media sources said that 70 people were martyred and dozens were injured.
Civil defense and medical crews have embarked on evacuating the casualties from the bombed area, which is crammed with displaced people, to the Kuwait field hospital.
There are a number of civil defense rescuers among the casualties, according to the Government Media Office.
