A Palestinian young man was martyred after he rammed his car into Israeli soldiers in Ramla City in central Israel (1948 occupied Palestine) on Sunday.
Four Israeli soldiers were injured, two seriously, in the car-ramming operation that happened on a major highway near a military base in northern Ramla, according to the Hebrew media.
The driver hit several people at a bus stop, continued driving, made a U-turn and crashed into another bus stop where people were waiting, Haaretz website said.
The Israeli police said that border patrol officers arrived at the scene and shot the driver dead, claiming that the driver also opened fire in the area without providing further details about the shooting incident.
The driver was identified as 27-year-old Mohamed Shihab from Kafr Aqab town in northern Jerusalem.
