The Hamas Movement said in a statement that “the criminal Zionist occupation army continues to escalate its massacres against defenseless civilians displaced in shelter centers.”
“The latest being the barbaric bombing of UNRWA’s Abu Oreiban School this afternoon in the Nuseirat refugee camp; resulting in a death toll of about 15 martyrs and dozens of wounded,” it said on Sunday evening.
“This is an extension of the ongoing war of extermination against our defenseless civilians and the targeting of women and children, which is a blatant Zionist challenge to the international community, and a disregard for the UN demands that stressed the necessity of stopping the aggression against our people,” it stated.
“The attempts of terrorist Netanyahu and his Nazi-like government to subjugate our people through this level of unprecedented crime will fail,” Hamas concluded.
Earlier on Sunday, at least 15 Palestinians were massacred in a fresh Israeli attack on an UNRWA-run school sheltering displaced families in the Gaza Strip.
